In the past, honeybush was traded and consumed as a substitute for tea. Nowadays, it holds its very own little niche in the big world of teas. The green honeybush is the pure equivalent to the fermented honeybush. The natural fermentation process through humidifying and heating in the sun outdoors is interrupted prematurely when producing the green honeybush. Thanks to this, the green honeybush receives its light colour and its mild, yet lightly spicy, sweet cup. The infusion shines in honey colours. Also suitable as iced tea and perfect as a refreshment on a hot summer day.
