From a little market stall to a whole lot of lovely tea.

It all started in 2016, with a love of a good cuppa and a rather big dream…

Founded by Rae Holland, The Lichfield Tea Company began life as a little market stall, sharing beautiful loose leaf teas, delicious coffees and a genuine passion for bringing people together over a brew.

What started as a small idea soon grew into something rather special.

Over the years, that little market stall became a shop, then a bustling café, filled with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed tea, the sound of laughter and the wonderful people who made The Lichfield Tea Company what it is today.

There have been plenty of adventures, a few changes of direction and, naturally, an awful lot of tea drunk along the way!

Ten years on, the kettle is still very much on.

Today, The Lichfield Tea Company has evolved once again. Rae and Lydia are now working together, bringing their shared enthusiasm, creativity and love of all things tea and coffee to the next chapter of our story.

While we may no longer have a café to welcome you into, our passion for providing exceptional tea, delicious coffee and a little everyday happiness remains exactly the same.

Through our online shop and wholesale partnerships, we’re continuing to share our carefully chosen collection of teas and coffees with lovely customers, old friends and new faces alike.

We believe that a good cup of tea is about so much more than what’s in your mug. It’s about taking five minutes for yourself, putting the world to rights with a friend, or simply finding a little comfort in the everyday.

And after ten years, that’s still what makes us put the kettle on every morning.

To everyone who has visited our stall, sat in our café, ordered from our website or simply shared a cuppa with us along the way — thank you. You’ve been part of our story, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to the next chapter, new adventures and plenty more tea.

With love and a freshly brewed cuppa,
