Originally grown in altitudes in Fujian, China, the trees were so high that monkeys were trained to pluck the tea. Today however this is undertaken by people over a period of days. The rougher, slightly fluffy leaf makes a light green infusion and a mild cup of tea, with a slight nuance of honey characterise this fascinating tea. This is a must for every lover of green tea and is definitely considered to be one of the world's top class speciality teas.
