The mountainous south of Yunnan, China whose mostly rainy and foggy climate supports the growth of very aromatic and fine teas, elevates this region from other parts of China.  Only the youngest Assamica leaves are plucked and considered stronger, more voluminous with more "body" whilst at the same time softer and more tender in their flesh. These ideal conditions provide the basis for this tender, very aromatic taste which combines the earthy characters of Yunnan and green tea.
